A downloadable game for Windows

This is just another tower defense. Don't touch the dice.

This game was made in 48 hours for the GMTK Game Jam 2022.

HOW TO PLAY:

Goal: Waves of runners will run  across the track. Your goal is to prevent 10 runners from reaching the end of the track and complete level 10.

Towers: Click with your mouse to place towers, which will automatically shoot at the runners. Each tower costs 10 minerals. When a runner is destroyed, you gain 5 minerals which you can use to build more towers. You also gain more minerals at the start of each level.

Upgrades: You can also upgrade your towers by clicking on them, which will make them do more damage. . The first upgrade costs 20 minerals, and the second upgrade costs 40 minerals.

Dice: You can roll the boss' dice to create  random effects that will either help or hurt you. The dice effects are intended to by mysterious, but if you really want to know what they do, I've listed the effects at the bottom.

Dice Effects:

2 - 1 to 3 of your towers are destroyed.
3 - Runners go faster
4 - You lost 50 minerals
5 - Attack range on all towers increases
6 - Darkness
7 - You gain 50 minerals
8 - Runners slow down
9 - Tower attack rate is doubled
10 - You can build/upgrade much faster.
11 - Runners are frozen in place.
12 - Runners take 50% damage.

I survived the game until level 5. It's working pretty well, actually. Well done! I really like the enemy's variation and the music. I wish the dice roll is more impactful from the visual aspect and I also wonder if we could see the enemies' health bar or if it is intentional.
